Bourbon Vanilla Bakery was started in 2020 by Cindy and Brian Bennington.

Cindy grew up in the Los Angeles area.  Upon graduating from Loyola Marymount University, she went to work in the auditing division of a large public accounting firm.  After taking some consumer education classes in baking, she left the firm and enrolled full time at a small culinary arts school.  She evolved and improved her skills while working at restaurants in Los Angeles and New York.  

Brian is a native of New York.  As a kid, he did bake reports to circumvent doing book reports.  He has worked in food and beverage since he was a teenager, formalizing his skills at the Culinary Institute of America.  He was the executive chef of multiple restaurants and private clubs in New York, Los Angeles, Annapolis, and the Coachella Valley.


We are located in Rancho Mirage, California and operate with a CFO permit issued in Riverside County.  Thus, we do not have a storefront nor operating hours for guests.  Our handcrafted and attractively packaged baked goods are currently available at local farmers markets.  For local delivery, please contact us to inquire about arrangements.
